What Families Say
Caregiver Workshops
Tools and training you can use right away
You’ve already tried things. Some of them helped, briefly. None of them held up.
If you’ve sat through a bedtime that ended in tears (yours, theirs, or both), watched the same meltdown play out in the grocery store, or felt your shoulders tense every time someone says “have you tried…”, you know how exhausting this work can be.
Behavior Bridges’ free caregiver workshop teaches you to read what your loved one’s behavior is actually communicating, prevent the moments that derail your day, and respond safely when things escalate. Led by behavioral health staff who do this work every day in a room with other caregivers who get it.
One of the cornerstones of Behavior Bridges’ philosophy is to collaborate with families and teams to partner together toward success with a focus on the best interests of the individual receiving care.
We have found that this creates more sustainable positive change across settings and that the tools learned by the individual and their caregivers can then be maintained and generalized better. Through building trust and a relationship based on the principles of inclusion and the science of ABA, positive and preventative plans can be created to address challenging behaviors or to target skill building.

Why Professionals, Schools, and Families Trust Behavior Bridges
At Behavior Bridges, we know you want to find a place that will genuinely welcome your person—not just say they will, but actually mean it. A place where you do not have to prepare your family member for the moment they are asked to leave. But if you have already been turned away, told that behaviors are “too complex,” or watched your adult family member age out of services with nowhere to go, you know how rare that place is. It can start to feel like it does not exist. And the longer that goes on, the harder it becomes to believe it will be different this time.
Behavior Bridges is currently one of only four programs in Washington State recognized by the Council for Autism Service Providers (CASP).
We built the programs that did not exist: services for every age, from early ages building their first skills to adults navigating friendships, employment, and independence. Most providers stop when someone ages up. But we know the need does not stop, so neither do we.

Social Groups
A safe place to learn, grown, and connect
If you’ve been told a behavior was “too complex,” watched your loved one age out with nowhere to go, or sat in the parking lot after another visit that didn’t feel right, you know how rare a welcoming space is for the neurodivergent community.
Our social groups are led by behavioral health experts trained to read what behavior is actually communicating. Activities are matched to each person’s pace, interests, and comfort level. Skills are built inside real connection. The door doesn’t close when behaviors get complex. And, the part parents tell us they didn’t expect, is when participants ask when they get to come back!
Your loved one belongs here.
Various social groups are now being offered! Different themes and skills will be targeted for some groups. Groups typically last from 1-3 hours. Other groups are meant to be a loosely structured hang-out style for you to make friends, be part of group activities and have a safe and welcoming place to come.
Ages and special interests that will be targeted are:
Behavior Bridges provides a variety of skill building courses, and utilizes curriculum such as PEERS® and other best practice tools to provide evidence based social skills training to neurodiverse preschoolers, children, adolescents, and adults.
Programs teach life skills and skills for making and keeping friends, handling conflicts, and addressing bullying. Each program provides opportunities to practice the skills learned with peers.
